Iran’s ‘The Heavy Shadows of the Crow’ to go to Italy

Iranian short film ‘The Heavy Shadows of the Crow’ has been selected to vie at the sixth edition of the Corto e a Capto filmfest in Italy.

Directed by Behnam Asadollahi, the short film depicts five naked men who grow out of soil in a flat desert.

The men are led by a crow while some unexpected incidents happen.

Asadollahi’s short flick has earlier been screened at the 10th Baku International Short Film Festival in Azerbaijan, the 13th FILMSAAZ Film Festival in India, and the 2020 Gatffest Film Festival in Jamaica.

The Corto e a Capto- Premio Mario Puzo film festival aims to host films from around the world hoping to provoke thought and inspire hopes.

This year’s edition of the event is slated for August 18-23, 2020.
